The Network Interviews is a collection of interviews done in 1986-1989 from the New York City area music newspaper Network, started by Frank and Gordon MacKay. I was production editor for the paper. This new 300-page book reprints the classic Network interviews, all unseen since the 80's (and even then, only in the NYC-LI area) with everyone from KISS, Bon Jovi, Ozzy, Poison, Metallica, Guns 'N Roses, and many more.
While the book is mostly classic interviews, I write brand new two original chapters in the book, "Nothin' But A Good Time: The 80's Metal Scene - How It Started, Thrived and Died," as well as "The Creation of Network: How New York's #1 Music and Entertainment Paper of the 80s Began." In the "Creation" chapter, there are many great stories about rock star encounters with Network. I also write new introductions for each chapter.
Frank MacKay also writes a foreward, as well as interviewer legend Joe Franklin, who himself has conducted hundreds of thousands of interviews with everyone since the 50s.
I act as editor for the book, and Bill Bogardt designed the cover (featuring Bret Michaels) and more. For $20,00 which includes all taxes, this is an amazing read especially for anyone who remembers that magical time.

GET DOWN DRESS UP
This is my CD released last year in 2008, Get Down Dress Up. In a way, it is a compilation of sorts as the songs were recorded at different times. So the production varies but it is still the same punk groove a/la Ramones and Buzzcocks.
Since the release of Get Down Dress Up on Glittercat Records, the CD has been picked up by Straw House Records in Massachusetts, with whom I have recently signed a deal. I will be recording the next CD very shortly for early 2010 release and there will be a tour following the release of that CD.
